An apartment design for a young family of four: two adults and two children of different genders—a teenage boy and a preschool-aged girl.
Originally, it was a three-room apartment with a small kitchen and a very large, impractical hallway. After the renovation, we ended up with three separate rooms (a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and two children’s rooms) and a large open-concept kitchen where the whole family can spend time together.
In our work, we don’t limit the client to choosing between just two options. We sketch many options until we find the optimal one, both in terms of layout and design. We decided to showcase different wall treatments in the living room and kitchen furniture because the client’s chosen option doesn’t always align with our preferred choice. But all options are interesting, and everyone is different. The most important thing is the client’s comfort!
